Concrete is Pouring at Marsden Four Square Site

Things are all-go at the Marsden Four Square site at Marsden Cove, where we’re constructing a 900m2, two-story commercial building for Marsden Maritime Holdings (MMH). Part of their Marina Precinct development, a new modern Four Square retail operation will occupy the ground floor, and the upper floor leased to mixed businesses. The two images below were taken five days apart. The Trigg team formed, reinforced and poured 30 concrete columns in just six days – an incredible effort led by Project Manager Terrence Elliot and Site Manager Brad Taylor.

We’ve been involved in this project right from the very start, working collaboratively with the design team and MMH. This design-build approach allows us to mitigate much of the construction risk before we even start on site. Combined with detailed planning by the Trigg team, it enables progress on-site to move extremely fast and meet an ambitious program set by the wider project team. “All the upfront planning we did mean that we could give our client certainty of handover dates for tenant fit-outs. That’s a real measure of success for us as a construction partner,” says Darrell.
