Meet the team: Ricki Heremaia

Share This:

Ricki is one of Trigg’s younger apprentices who came to us straight out of school. Ricki brings amazing positivity and an infectious sense of humour to our team. When asked to summarise working at Trigg in three words, he acknowledged his site manager. “Listen to Rhys”, he joked. Ricki loves his sports, specifically rugby and basketball which take up most of his time outside of work. His desire to help build a Marae in his local area drives his passion for working in the construction industry. Trigg loves passing on quality skills and experience to all our apprentices. With young men like Ricki, we know the future of construction is in good hands.

Just for fun, we put our Trigg 10 Quick Questions to Ricki, and this is what he had to say.

Are skyrocketing construction costs here to stay?

Clients old and new have been asking us what’s up with skyrocketing construction costs and where we think things will head – up, down or stay much the same. Like you, we don’t have a crystal ball so we can’t see with any certainty where things will go. So, we asked Jeremy Blake, Associate Director – Quantity Surveying at Hampton Jones for his expert opinion. Here’s what he had to say.
