Access to Adventure Boat: Work Underway

Darrell and Marlene are proud and passionate supporters of the Access to Adventure Trust and its vision to open the ocean to people living with physical, intellectual, or mental health challenges. In their words, “What begins as a day on the water often becomes something far greater.” That vision is now one step closer to becoming a reality. The Access to Adventure boat is on the hardstand, and work is officially underway — a major milestone for the Trust and everyone who has supported the project. The Access to Adventure team is incredibly grateful to the volunteers generously contributing their time, skills and expertise, alongside Norsand, one of the Trust’s key partners. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, almost $200,000 has already been raised towards the $900,000 target. Every contribution matters. Whether it’s a donation, partnership, fundraiser, volunteering, or simply starting a conversation and helping spread the word, every action brings the Trust closer to getting the boat on the water. Together, we can create accessible ocean adventures that have the potential to change lives for the better.
