Meet the Team: Hayley Ludgate

Share This:

Hayley joined the team in October this year in a Construction Support role and as Trigg’s Health and Safety Officer. Based at Trigg HQ with Marlene but often out doing site visits with the team, Hayley likes to be busy and has already added huge value to the team’s work in the short time she’s been with us.  Hayley has always loved the construction industry and has worked across the sector in residential, commercial, manufacturing, civil engineering, council resource consenting, steel framing and structural steel, here in New Zealand and Australia. Outside of work, Hayley is firstly a mum and wife. You’ll usually find her at home in Kamo, hanging out with her family or working on home projects, or keeping up her fitness with regular trips up Parahaki or running around the neighbourhood.

Just for fun, we put our Trigg 10 Quick Questions to Hayley, and this is what she had to say.

Cats or dogs? Dogs mostly. Cats sometimes.

Dance floor or karaoke? Dance floor for sure.

Coffee or tea? Neither. Both are disgusting.

Early riser or early night? Early riser, otherwise the day is wasted.

Good book or Netflix show? Hmmmm, probably a good book. I can watch the most entertaining movie and still get bored halfway.

Talent you wish you had? There’s no particular talent I want as such, but I’d love to be highly skilled in art welding and fabrication.

Dream destination?  Europe. I’d love to see the old historical buildings.

Homebody or adventure seeker? Adventure seeker till I run out of battery, then an absolute ‘leave-me-alone’ homebody.

Most treasured possession? My family. They are my everything.

Real life hero?  My Poppa. A very clever, tough cookie. Master of all trades and everything in between.
