For Team Trigg and our extended team of subbies, it’s time to down tools for the year and take a well-deserved break. Before we do that, here’s a quick update on what we’ve been doing over the last quarter of 2025.
Stand Tū Maia Children’s Village
We’re thrilled to share that this project was completed on time for its scheduled opening back in August. For the Trigg team, this was a massive undertaking, and the result of everyone’s commitment and hard work is an outstanding facility that’s been well received by the Stand Tū Māia team and will make a significant difference to the children and young people who spend time there. This project was a privilege to be involved with, and we wish the Stand team and their wider support whanau all the best for their important mahi in their new facility.
Marsden Cove Marina Hardstand Washdown
The Marsden Cove Hardstand wash facility is in its last stage, with the final finishing works in progress. The Trigg team has done a great job to bring this simple-looking, but complicated wash-down facility, through to nearing completion. Handover to the Marsden Cove Hardstand Team is on track for early February 2026. This is another great example of early contractor involvement (ECI). Trigg was brought in to the project at the beginning of the design stage to add value through our experience with concrete structures, construction methodology and programme scheduling. It will be great to see this facility being used by local and international Boaties very soon – it’s a real asset to the Marsden Cove Hardstand.

Mangawhai Pensioner Flats
The pensioner flats at Fagan Place, Mangawhai, are now all complete, and the existing units demolished. Fourteen prefabricated units were delivered to the site, successfully placed on foundations and connected up to all services in and outgoing. We then worked on constructing the flats’ fully accessible decks, ramps, driveways and parking to ensure the units are easy-to-access and safe for their tenants. The Trigg team finished half of the flats early and handed them over to the client, enabling some tenants to move in ahead of time. The completed project, featuring modern units and a common recreational area beside a newly formed lake, has transformed the area. The tenants have been overwhelmingly positive about the new units, and extremely happy to be settled in their nice, new, warm and healthy homes.

In the Spotlight
If you’ve visited our website recently you might have noticed we’ve added two Trigg projects we’re pretty proud of – the Ruakaka Rec Centre and the Floating Marina.
